OPPO Find X8 Pro Review
This is Oppo's second flagship smartphone of 2024, Oppo Find X8 Pro, before this Oppo released the first flagship phone in January 2024 which is Oppo Find X7 Ultra, if we say that Find X7 Ultra is the predecessor of Find X8 Pro then it is wrong because Oppo will launch the Ultra variant of Find X8 series soon. Last year Oppo did not launch Find X7 Pro smartphone, so now we are assuming in this post that Oppo Find X7 Ultra is the predecessor of OPPO X8 Pro.
Findx8pro was launched in China on October 24, 2024 and will have a global launch in November 2024. OPPO Find X8Pro is the first smartphone from Oppo to score 3 Million+ in AnTuTu score and has an amazing quad camera setup with 6X optical zoom and X8 Pro is priced less than Find X7 Ultra and the features of Find X8Pro are amazing but first let's take a look at the specifications of oppofindx8pro.

X8Pro has a super premium design with a curved aluminum frame, the design is almost the same as Find X7 Ultra but some things have changed like the size of the smartphone, the size of oppox8pro is a little bit smaller than X7 Ultra which measures 6.39 inches in length, 3.02 inches in width, 0.32 inches in thickness (8.2mm) and the weight of Find x8 Pro is 6 grams lighter than Find x7 Ultra which is 215 grams.
The front side of the oppofind X8 pro has a 6.78 inch AMOLED display which is a micro curved display which is not curved like the x7 ultra but the bezels are thin so it has 89.8% screen to body, this display has a center punch hole camera and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The back side is made of glass and has a quad camera setup in a large circular camera module with Hasselblad branding and LED flash in the corner.
Taking a look at the right side of the oppo find 8 pro, you will not only find the power on/off and volume up/down buttons but also a new capture button like the iPhone 16 series, Oppo has called this button the Quick Shot button whose features are similar to the capture button of the iPhone 16 series. The Quick Shot button has features like zoom in zoom out, double tap to start shooting, etc. There is an alert slider on the left side and dual microphones and IR sensor on the top and speaker, USB Type C 3.2 generation 1, microphone and SIM card slot with dual nano SIM card slot on the bottom. The OPPO Find 8X Pro also has an IP68/IP69 water/dust resistant rating(up to 1.5 meter for 30 minutes)

The second thing we are talking about is the display, the OPPO Find X8 Pro does not have a curved display like the Find X7 Ultra but it has a micro curved display which is a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display. The features of this display are the same as the Find X7 Ultra but its quality is slightly less than the Find X7 Ultra as the Find X8 Pro has 460ppi density while the X7 Ultra has 510ppi density with 2K resolution.
This display has a 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology that can adjust the display from 1Hz to 120Hz and has a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming. This display supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Always On Display and has a 10-bit color depth that shows up to 1.07 billion colors. Talking about brightness, the Find X8 Pro has 800nits typical brightness, 1600nits HBM brightness and 4500nits peak brightness.

Talking about the gaming experience, it offers a very smooth gaming experience with fast performance and low battery consumption due to the 3nm architecture design. The average frame rate of open world games is 59.90fps and the average frame rate of strategy adventure games is 59.80fps.

Oppo Find X8Pro comes with Android 15 Color OS 15. Color OS 15 is super light and more comfortable, it offers new inspirational themes, a very smooth animation powered by Aurora Engine. Oppo has introduced AI in X8 Pro which Oppo calls Oppo AI

The next thing we are talking about is the cameras which the Find X series is known for, there is a quad camera setup at the back similar to the Find X7 Ultra which has a slightly different design but the megapixels are the same. It has a 50MP OiS main camera with Sony LYT-800 (1/1.43) image sensor, 50MP ultrawide with 120° field of view and this ultrawide lens is a Samsung S5KJN sensor (1/2.76”), 50MP OiS telephoto with 3X optical zoom, 50MP OiS periscope telephoto with 6X optical zoom and a 32MP selfie camera with Sony IMX615 (1/2.74) sensor.
