ZTE Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro Plus is ZTE's new flagship gaming number series smartphone which ZTE has released in China on 13th November 2024 and will soon be released globally.
ZTE releases a new smartphone every year at the end of the year and this is the company that focuses on smartphones for gaming experience and design, which added pressure sensitive triggers to the smartphone for better game play and added a high-quality cooler system that keeps the smartphone cool in gaming so we say it is a completely gaming smartphone. Red Magic 10 Pro Plus has new processor which is now widely used in flagship smartphones which is Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition or we can say Snapdragon 8 Elite and ZTE also updated self developed gaming chip which is new RedCore 3 chip.

So the first thing we are talking about is the design of the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro Plus, the smartphone comes with a flat aluminum frame design just like its predecessor RedMagic 9 Pro Plus but it has ultra narrow bezels which makes the screen frame less.
It measures 163.4 mm (6.43 inches) in length, 76.1 mm (3.00 inches) in width, 8.9 mm (0.35 inches) in thickness and the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro+ weighs 229 grams which is the same as its predecessor.
Looking at the front, it has a 6.85-inch display with an under display selfie camera and it has a 1.25mm thickness border with a 0.7mm frame and 0.55mm ultra narrow bezels. The back of the Nubia RedMagic 10 Pro Plus is made of glass and it has a triple camera setup with a slightly bigger camera ring and it has the X branding and the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro Plus comes with four color options: Dark Night, White Night, Transparent Silver Deuterium, Transparent Dark Night.
On the right side there are power on/off, volume up/down buttons and there is a microphone, a competetive button that helps for flashlight, translation, etc. and it also has two gaming shoulder buttons with 520Hz touch sensing. The left side is empty and on the top side there is a speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone and on the bottom side there is a speaker, microphone, USB Type C 3.2 and SIM card slot with dual nano SIM support. This is a gaming device, there is no IP rating but ZTE says it is slightly protected against dust/splashes.

The RedMagic Nubia 10 Pro Plus has a bigger and clearer display with higher resolution than its predecessor Magic 9 Pro Plus which is a 6.85-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. ZTE is mainly focusing on the gaming experience so ZTE uses a high refresh rate and touch sampling rate display.
This display has a 144Hz refresh rate, a high touch sampling rate of 960Hz, 2500Hz instant touch sampling rate and it also has 2592Hz PWM dimming for eye protection in dark environments. This display is at 431ppi density and has a 10 bit color depth that shows up to 1.07 billion colors.
The quality of the display is absolutely better than the predecessor and it is a good looking display one because of the quality and secondly because of the high screen to body ratio and this display also supports HDR10+ and talking about brightness it has 2000nits peak brightness.

The next thing we are talking about is the processor which is the main highlight of the Nubia RedMagic 10 Pro Plus. The Redmagic10proplus is powered by the Snapdragon flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Elite which is based on TSMC's second generation 3nm architecture technology. This processor has a higher clock speed of 4320MHz and the new Adreno 830GPU.
Talking about the cores, it is an octa core processor with 2 cores (Oryon B2 Phoenix L) at 4.32GHz and 6 cores (Oryon V2 Phoenix M) at 3.53GHz. ZTE has also added the new self-developed RedCore R3 Gaming which supports 200+ games at 2K 120Hz super resolution with super frame concealer which makes the picture quality experience much better.

ZTE has introduced AI features in the Magic 10 Pro Plus which are AI Notepad, AI Elimination (intelligently eliminates picture elements), AI Image Expansion (smart expansion of images), Wallpaper Creation (customized wallpapers), Screen Reading Editing (extracting text and supporting AI writing), Screen Reading Editing, etc.
It also has support for AR and VR headsets, cloud games, keyboard support, and RedMagic screen cast.
In terms of connectivity, it features a 360° surround antenna design with NFC support and has dual 5G WiFi 7 bands and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.

This battery features a new generation silicon negative electrode technology that significantly improves the energy density, while the battery capacity increases it does not increase the weight and thickness and is more durable than Li-Po batteries.

Now we are talking about the compromise thing of Red Magic 10 Pro Plus i.e. camera, this is a gaming smartphone so ZTE does not focus on camera but it does not mean that the camera is bad rather according to the price the camera should have been a little better.
The rear camera has a 50MP OiS main camera with new 1/1.5" image sensor, 50MP ultrawide [OmniVision OV50D(1/2.88")] with 120° field of view, 2MP macro and on the front there is a 16MP selfie camera with OmniVision OV16A1Q (1/3.06") sensor. With the rear camera you can record videos up to 8K at 30fps and with the front selfie camera you can record videos up to 1080p at 60fps
