Infinix has launched its new midrange smartphone, the Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus, globally. Released on March 20, 2025, the device offers impressive specifications for its price. Notable features include the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and a large 5200mAh battery. Further details about the design, display, camera, and other upgrades, along with comparisons to its predecessor, the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus, will be discussed.
Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus Design and Colors
The Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus features a significantly more refined design than its predecessor, the Note 40 Pro Plus. Notably, it includes a stronger 8mm thick aluminum frame (an upgrade from plastic) and weighs 209 grams.
Looking at the dimensions, the Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus measures 163.4mm (6.43in) in length, 74.5mm (2.93in) in width, and 8mm (0.31in) in thickness. Infinix also offers three color options: Titanium Grey, Enchanted Purple, and Racing Edition.
At the front of the Infinix Note50 Pro Plus, there's a 6.78-inch display with a center punch-hole camera, a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, and an under-display optical fingerprint scanner. There is a new octagonal-shaped camera module on the back, housing triple cameras, an LED flash, and an RGB notification strip around it. The back is made of plastic, but the Infinix Note 50Pro Plus comes with an upgraded IP64 dust-tight and water-resistant rating, improved from the previous IP53 rating.
There is a power button on the right side and volume buttons on the left. The top side features a speaker, microphone, and IR sensor, while the bottom side includes a speaker, microphone, USB Type-C 2.0 port, and a SIM card slot with dual nano SIM support.

The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 2340Hz PWM dimming. It supports 10-bit color depth, displaying up to 1.07 billion colors, and has a pixel density of 393 PPI. Additionally, the display achieves a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus Performance and Software
At this price, Infinix offers MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 8350 processor, which is an upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 7020. The Dimensity 7020 has a 6nm architecture with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz, while the Dimensity 8350 is built on a 4nm architecture and has a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz. With a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz, the Dimensity 8350 outperforms the Dimensity 7020. It has 1 Cortex-A715 core at 3.35GHz, 3 Cortex-A715 cores at 3.20GHz and 4 Cortex-A510 cores at 2.20GHz and has a Mali G615-MC6 GPU. Additionally, the Infinix uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, which are upgrades from the LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 found in the infinix note 40 pro plus.

Talking about software and connectivity, the Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus comes with the latest XOS 15, which is based on Android 15 and will receive major Android upgrades for up to two years. In terms of connectivity, it features Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6 support.
Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus Battery and Charging
The Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus is equipped with a large 5200mAh Si-C battery, an upgrade from the 4600mAh battery used in the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus. This battery supports 100W wired fast charging, 50W MagSafe wireless charging (upgraded from 20W), 10W reverse wired charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging. With the 100W charger, the battery will be 50% charged in 14 minutes and fully charged in 32 minutes.
Infinix Note 50 Pro Plus Camera
Talking about the cameras, Infinix has made significant upgrades to it compared to its previous model. It has a triple-camera setup at the back, which includes a 50MP OIS main camera with a Sony IMX896 sensor (1/1.56) and f/1.9 aperture. The secondary camera is a 50MP OIS telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, which uses the same IMX896 sensor, which is a great feature because, in most smartphones, the telephoto lens does not use a premium sensor. It also supports digital zoom up to 100x.
The third camera is an 8MP ultrawide with a 112° field of view and a 1/3.1" sensor. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with the same 1/3.1" sensor. The rear camera can record up to 4K videos at 60fps, while the front camera can record up to 4K videos at 30fps.
