Nothing has released a new smartphone series that is the Nothing Phone 3A series, Nothing has not launched the Nothing Phone 3 yet but Nothing has released the Nothing Phone 3A and Nothing Phone 3A Pro smartphones on March 4, 2025. In this post we are talking about the Nothing Phone 3A Pro smartphone which has no predecessor because Nothing did not launch the Nothing Phone 2A Pro. 

The Nothing Phone 3A Pro is the first Nothing smartphone that comes with a 50MP OiS periscope telephoto lens which is an incredible thing and gives us a hint for the Nothing Phone 3 smartphone which may come with an incredible camera setup. The other amazing thing is the design of the smartphone which now comes with IP64 rating and this is also a good thing because we know that IP rating or we can say dust and water protection was a problem in the previous generation smartphone but now this thing has been upgraded which is also a good thing. 

Apart from this there are many other things like new Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 processor, battery, display etc which we will talk about but before that let's take a look at the key specifications of the Nothing Phone 3A Pro smartphone.

1) Nothing Phone 3a Pro Design and Colors

The Nothing Phone 3a Pro has a great design that comes with a 100% recycled aluminum frame with 8.4 mm thickness and weighs 211 grams (7.44 ounces). Talking about the dimensions, the Nothing Phone 3a Pro measures 163.5 mm (6.44 inches) in length, 77.5 mm (3.05 inches) in width, 8.4 mm (0.33 inches) in thickness and the Nothing Phone 3a Pro has an IP64 dust tight and water resistant rating which is a good thing about it.

The front side of the Nothing 3a Pro has a center punch hole camera and a 6.77-inch flat symmetrical bezels display with Panda Glass protection and 88% screen to body ratio and Nothing also offers an under display optical fingerprint scanner. On the back side, three different materials are used first is tin in the six circuit boards, second is steel in the stamping parts and third is plastic back. There is a big circular camera module on the back that has triple cameras with LED flash and 3 LED light strips around it and Nothing 3a Pro has two color options which are Black and Gray.

On the right side there is the power on/off and essential key button which provides some shortcuts and on the left side there is the volume up/down button. On the top side there is the microphone and on the bottom side there is the microphone, speaker, USB Type C 2.0 and SIM card slot with dual nano SIM or dual e-SIM support.

2) Nothing Phone 3a Pro Display

The Nothing Phone 3a Pro comes with a 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+. This display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 1000Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming and 387 ppi density. This display also supports HDR10+, 10 bit color depth which shows up to 1.07 billion colors and in terms of brightness, the Nothing Phone 3a Pro has 800nits typical brightness, 1300nits HBM brightness and up to 3000nits peak brightness.

The Nothing Phone 3a Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 processor which is based on TSMC's 4nm architecture technology. This processor is an octa core processor with 1 core at 2.5 GHz (Cortex-A720), 3 cores at 2.4 GHz (Cortex-A720), 4 cores at 1.8 GHz (Cortex-A520) and has Adreno 710 (940 MHz) GPU and apart from this it has LPDDR5 RAM type and UFS 2.2 storage type is used.
